JFKBrooklet - I was having the same problems when I switched to Internet Explorer 9 - so I switched back to IE 8 and it solved the problem.
I know Leslie knows how much we all care about her - keep thinking good thoughts for her! Thanks Flyboymom for the updates - hope Terry and the boys are doing ok!
Sheila - Just added a recipe for Kale Salad which has become a favorite in our family and with many friends ever since my MIL introduced it to us a couple of years ago. Kale is super good for you. We actually grow it in our vegetable garden and it grows like a weed, so it's great to know what to do with it! Please let us know how and when we can order a cookbook and thanks for getting a bunch of us motivated to contribute!
Congratulations on all the recent promotions, graduations and important milestones reported here. DS is in Primary and just started flying this week. Sounds stressed at times about the mounds of material to know, but overall doing well so far. Thanks for all the info and experiences you all share here - lots of really helpful posts.
Hi everyone,
I have not commented for a while and I have been trying to send personal messages to a couple of members. When I click on "send" nothing happens and the message does not send. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thank you.
Jayne
Ok Sheila...I added one to the cookbook. it took less than five minutes to enter.
I am a little burned out on recipes as the FRG for the ship my son is on is doing a cookbook also. Spent late Wednesday night entering 10 recipes for that one.
Keep us posted on the Sea to shining sea cookbook.
Sheila pleaded that I add the link for the cookbook for her as she says' "My kids always take care of these things". I felt sorry for her. So with that said here is the link to the cookbook.
To contribute to this cookbook go to:
http://www.cookbookpublishers.com/utypeit/login.cfm
Login in is: navymom1
Passwork: Navy
When you get login look on the left side of the page and you will see a button "Add Recipe" click on that and it will lead you thru.
Also, in the last 2 cookbooks when you put your name we also put PNM(proud navy mom) and your sailors name if your putting it in for grandmother, sister etc just put PNG, or PNS or you don't have to put that at all.
Hi ladies! Probably a dumb question, but are all of your airmen pilots? My daughter is AWS and leaving Pcola July 8, going to Norfolk, and I don't really know which group is my next step :) I like to be ahead in the information game when I talk to her.
Chris- I loved your post from DD.
