Wish I had mentioned it sooner. It was nice....especially for people who had/have Eagle Scouts. Did not realize how many people in gov't, etc....were Eagle Scouts.

This is our youngest, Giovanni - 8 y/o with Alvin. He was very nice. Patsy had just posted about Bahrain and he was talking about the base in Bahrain and a market there.

Suzi - didn't even think to ask you to do that - but thanks for the kind offer - you're probably there right now!

Paymaster - I think Shelia wrote about graduation a couple of pages ago :)  Sounds like it was awesome!

I hope all you Navy moms had a great Mother's Day. My DS called yesterday to wish me a happy day.  He was at the airport on his way to San Diego. He'll be presenting at the NHA Symposium this week with his boss. They are also playing in the golf tournament on Thursday, not all work (LOL).  Also had news regarding his next orders. He has been chosen to attend the Senior Officer class at the Naval War College in Newport, RI next March. He'll be getting his Masters in National Security and Strategic Studies. Pretty exciting! Still has lots of work ahead during this department head tour but the DIL is already looking at housing options. They are doing a lot of work on their house in Chesapeake but once again, it will be "the rental".

Hey!  Happy  Mother's Day to all you wonderful moms!  Got to Skype with DS late last night.  Say that this past week's "news' has kept them extremely busy.  Looked exhausted but enjoyed working the job.  Keep DS in your prayers...our kids do such dangerous, amazing things to keep us safe.  Love to all...
