AH...I checked and no one has volunteered for you son's group. So PM me how many are in his group/squadron so I know how many we need to make.

My son is with VFA-137. Last I heard, they were somewhere in the Pacific! I heard from him on Saturday morning 3:00 am!!! He had just had many vaccinations that were quite painful. This is the only time that I have heard him complain about something medical wise.

Leslie - glad to hear Brian is safe and sound - it will be interesting to hear what they will be doing there! So, I guess I can definitely start making some plans to come to JAX - will keep you posted!

Yes, the Navy does keep us all on our toes!

Watch out JAX - my pilot is going to be stationed there for the next 3 years - it was his first choice, decided to make Whidbey (back home in the Northwest) his 2nd choice - so it seems as though all of our pilots are getting to do what they want - which is a good thing.

He didn't get to go to the Pittsburgh airshow after all because the scheduler didn't realize what part of P3 training he was in and they don't let them leave during this particular phase - he was a little bummed, but hopes to get another good assingment in the future!

He will be in the VP45 Pelican squadron - he's very excited about it! Any other Pelican moms here??
