Hi Leslie......so glad you asked..API is going great.....test tomorrow and one on Thursday...... then academics will be complete...very strong scores so far.....so thankful for that.... one bad situation though.....his 3 roommates are going to Corpus Christi after API, my son is staying in Pensacola for Primary so the owner of the house will not let my son out of the lease...he's responsible for the remainder of their obligation on the lease which he cannot afford himself and he will not be able to find 3 more roommates to help foot the bill....an ugly situation.....one that he does not need right now...one that worries mom.....anyone else find themselves in this situation??? he's already been to Jag...the Navy is behind him.....why does this have to happen when they are stressed out enough as it is????? HELP!!!!!

Leslie,
I am so glad Connor is home safe. I know what you mean about the worry meter.

OMG - my son has this posted on his FB page with the comment "if this doesn't make you smile, defriend me" - I couldn't even get past the first little girl in her classroom.

Hi Leslie! Great. It looks like there are at least three of us. Exciting. I better get going and add a picture like the rest of you :-). Thanks for the message. It will be fun to keep in touch.

Rose: Yes, I am sure you know who he is. Our sons have been great friends for a long time. I hope they can continue to room together in NM. Has Ds received his furniture yet? I know he has been concerned about that. Will they keep their apartment in CC while they are away? Thanks for the response. It will be nice to keep in touch.

Rose: I think our sons are roommates in CC heading for New Mexico.

Daughter and son in law lived in Greensboro a few years ago...my parents lived in Greensboro back in the 70's so I know it pretty well.....I'm from Atlanta so am an old Southern girl living in Chicago now.....

Regarding Leslie's comment about viagra - I always have to chuckle about the ads that say to "call a doctor after 4 hours....." - what man would???? :)

I haven't had a lot to talk about, but have been reading everything - I fell lucky that my pilot is gettting to fly the P3 a lot and doesn't seem to have any drama going on right now - he will find out in a month or so where his next home for 3 or so years will be. He's really torn what to put for his choices between the 3 - Whidbey would mean he'd be back home in the Northwest (I feel selfish and am really trying to encourage him to see other parts of the world while he has this opportunity to do so); Hawaii could be really fun for a while; and JAX is good too with all the great diving spots and GF :)

Shelia, I agree with you - there is so much going on - it takes a playbook to keep up with everyone and love reading everything!
