Hey all,

I know there are some Gators out there - so here's a pic of the stadium from the cockpit of a P3!

MIds graduate at the very end of May each year.

That's too bad about the Lexington. I would think it would be great to do it there.

NurseNavyMom- you are correct that his advance would be in CC if he chooses P3 and would wing there. I don't know if they do it all the time, but sometimes they have the winging ceremony aboard the Lexington, which I think would be really cool. I've been in the area 3 times, and have visited 2 times on the Lexington. I hope that he gets to stay in FL since that is what he wants. Good luck with that.

The current acronym for the RAG is FRS for Fleet Replacment Squadron. When Mike refers to it however, he still refers to it as the RAG.

NurseNavyMom - When Mike went to CC from Pensacola (way back when OCS was there too), the married aviators usually stayed at Whiting and the unmarried ones went to CC. He still might be able to ask for CC if he wants. I think that they like to keep them there because some wives get jobs and can keep them longer after API.

The RAG is Replacement Air Group. It is where the SNA's go after winging. I had not heard about IRR. Sounds really rough. I hope that all goes well. The Fiscal year is in October.

Kathy....Has Rachel had her ears checked? Often times the seasickness can be caused by a minor ear infection.

Prayers for the family that lost their little one. Praying they learn to live with the loss a little better each day, because unfortunitly they will never get over it.
Comment by Paymaster on July 9, 2010 at 3:56pm
Yes, they all need our prayers. We were not meant to bury our children. They need all the love, support and prayers everyone can pour out to these two who have lost their baby.

God bless
