Leslie, hopefully, you will be going up with your husband and be beside him and Conor when he wings him - you need to be part of that too!!!

Sarah Jane - (IMHO) do NOT eat at the Iron Cactus on the Riverwalk! If you have never done the Riverwalk cruise, it's really interesting to learn about San Antonio's history - we really enjoyed it! Also, thought the Texas Ranger Museum was interesting - they have the original car that Bonnie & Clyde were killed in (I know, nice topic)! Enjoy - we spent 2 days there after being in Corpus and wished we had more time!

Lived there for 2 1/2 years. Visit the river walk and the Alamo. There is also a small Sea World with a nice water park. If you have a car, drive through the hill country. The town of Bourne is fun.

i'm a math major so i need to attend college, they don't offer a lot math on line, and i need A LOT, but i'm also not quiet done with GEd, so first semester i might take online classes.. I just hope we won't be in Lemoore for a long time, although we are thinking about living in Fresno. Bf has to drive 45 min to base, not that bad, plus no traffic on the way.. So then it will be easier to get to college, and everything will be closer to us, exept the base of course..
YES!! I love national parks!! And i hope it won't be as dry as in so cal, at least it's fields, not sand all around you lol

thanks everyone! I really hope it's not that bad lol Everyone tells me it's in the middle of nowhere, and i now live in so cal, near LA, and it's hard to imagine fields eveywhere around you lol =) But i'd love to explore all that nature, national parks, i'd just wish Lemoore was closer to beach, to San Francisco, or LA. And i wish i don't have to drive 45 min to get to college in Fresno lol
I'm originally from a big city with population about 2 mil, so it was even hard to get used to so cal, to all these citied like San Bernardino, Riverside.. so Lemoore sounds really scary for me haha

Hi All. Catching up on everyone's news.
Meredith's Mom: Re your daughter's assignment... My son was hoping for east or west coast and got Whidbey Island. He loves it there now after his initial disappointment.
Leslie: Sounds like Conor is really enjoying his training days. How lucky he was to see the Blue Angels up close and personal. We enjoyed their shows at Pensacola when we visited our son when he was there. And, one of the best times he had was the cross country flights. He's flown to Boston and got a Boston Red Sox baseball game in, flew out of Boston in a Nor'Eastern Storm and had to detour to Kentucky till the Pensacola air strip opened, so he and his instructor when to a bourbon distillery. He also flew to New Orleans and his wife drove down from Meridian and they got to party, went to San Diego for carrier quals and got in another game there. But the best was when he flew into Atlanta and they base let us get in to see him fly in and out and spend the weekend with us!
All: Sounds like everyone had a great Mother's Day!
