Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

He called me when he land in Chicago and I got the call from him telling me that he was there and that he would be sending me his stuff and that he wouldn't be able to contact me for three weeks :-( Does anyone know when I will receive his box and his letter with his information in it so I can send him his letters and calling cards? I miss him like crazy and its worst at night. It does help that the job I work keeps me busy. I just really miss hearing his voice.

I work crazy hours and drive a nice long way to and from it. Of course it is all worth it just to be here and be with him! I get to see him just about every day and I am loving it! I can't wait to be able to explpore with him and start our new adventures toghether! I will be checking in when I can but I don't have my own internet set up yet, so I will have to soon. I will want to have it handy when he goes into FMTB. I am sure there will be plently of questions during that time! So I will hope to be on more soon.

Well, anyways thought I would come on and say hi to everyone. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I am getting everything ready to move just outside of CP! I am so excited to be near my BF! Everything is coming together slowly but surely. Now I just have to finish packing, which of course is a big task of it own. I leave on Tuesday and will be there Wednesday! I can't wait to see him on Wednesday!! So I am not sure how often I will be on in the next bit, or if I will have the internet in the new place for a while. So until next time, I hope all of your days are wonderful!!
