My boyfriend just graduated from Aschool in p-cola. We are planning on getting engaged as soon as he comes home from deployment in december. I love to plan ahead and its really hard to set dates or times or places for everything with how short noticed everything is, especially a school.. We waited forever to find out where he was going to be stationed next...we found out a few days before he graduated and a couple days after graduation he was back home! So just got to go with it :]

Hey all that are discussing the marriage topic! That is always on my mind! I'm like getting anxious for things to start happening with our life! I definitely want the actual ceremony and not a courthouse wedding first. We have been together for almost 6 years total and engagement is just around the corner... I'm hoping soon after A school or when he comes home from that before he gets stationed happen. He is in Texas right now, does anyone have a bf there as well?

I am glad someone brought up that subject of marriage! I thought I was the only one thinking about it day in and day out.
Me and Joey have been together for 4 years. We have decided(of course this is through letters-it is no way shape or form the set deal yet) to do a courthouse marriage in Pensacola when he is in A School there. Then do a large ceremony with everyone in attendance later on. And again, later on is very vague as well. We will not know any of this until he is stationed. We did think of going ahead and getting married on his leave from A school but I think it is to much for him in a 2 week span to get married, see friends and family and pack our stuff up(yet again) and move along our way.
I really really want to but have to keep his plans in mind to.I can not be to selfish!!
Anyone else having that same problem?

Ballspa or something like that? Its on like the big part of NY. haha. If that makes any sense :)
He graduated boot on March 12th. Almost three months!
Dude. An air rescue swimmer retired Navy guy who had over 20 years in did my CPR/AED recert. at work (I'm a lifeguard at the Y). INTENSE. I thought I was gonna die when he started talking!

Its in Goose Creek, SC. Really close to Charleston. I actually just got back from my first visit down there. I LOVED it, and can't wait to go back. Most of his schooling is down there... 6 months for A school. 6 months for Power school. And another 6 months for Prototype. But Prototype can be in SC or NY. Just depends :)

Where do the rescue swimmers go?

My boyfriends a Nuke. Woo. Lots of schooling. Timing kind of sucks for us. I'm trying to finish high school, and he'll be heading to his first command around the Spring of my Freshman year of college. Sooo. I'd love to move with him to his first command, but I think I might push through to get my degree first.. I've heard of some doing it in 2 1/2 years. That's my goal right now :)

I like marriage talk. It's been happening to me, too. But I have another year to go... at least. Gotta finish high school first. Boo for being 17.
