Everyone! I have a question, but first I should give you some background. I will be going to school for Interior Design in the Spring (hopefully), so I have and am taking art classes. So I call myself an artist. I have sent Drew several drawings. Lately I haven't had the time to, but today is our 8 month anniversary. When Drew was here we always did something special for our month anniversaries because we knew he didn't have long until BC.
Here is my idea: I want to make it seem like I am taking him on a date for our anniversary. I was thinking that I should draw a picnic scene. I have already started this ides, but instead of drawing it I am creating it out of tape and watercolor. Do you think this will be a problem? I don't want to cause him trouble, and I want to make sure they actually give it to him. I wouldn't want to put all this work into it, and have them throw it out.
If you don't think it is a good idea should I still make it, but then take a picture of it and send him the picture?

Heidi.Jake(Ship 12 Div 086): I am going to PIR. Believe me when I say NOTHING could stop me.

I really don't know like anything about the Navy or their codes and acronyms. It kind of sucks. lol! I feel like I need to add that to the list of things I should do, "Add Navy class to schedule" Lol! Wouldn't that be sweet if college offered a course in "the language of Navy: all you need to know about having a loved one in the Navy." I would so take that course right about now! haha.

Dear Navy Girlfriends,
A number of you have either Kayleigh Hall and/or Gloria Lopez on your friend list. Please remove them ASAP. They are bogus profiles. Go to “My Page”, scroll down to “My Friends”, click on their profiles and click “My Friends” and click “Remove as Friend.” Starting last week, we went on a campaign to warn new members of this issue and notified many members who joined from late November to last week. Unfortunately, we did not detect this until last week and many new members had accepted their friend request. In fact, they had amassed around 500 friends each in a period of 30 days (with some overlapping). We want to thank those of you who have deleted the profiles of these two offending members. A spot check of a number of profiles under Members revealed many of the new members from this period joined November Boot Camp, December Boot Camp, Navy Girlfriend, Leaving for Boot Camp January 6, 2010, Navy Mom in MA Ship-09, Boot Camp Girlfriends. It is almost impossible for us to contact the 750 to 800 Friend profiles associated with Kayleigh and Gloria. We are just moms supporting our sons/daughters in the military with family and work obligations. We need your help and cooperation in keeping this site free of spam, advertisers and self-promoters. I will leave the group next week. Please check you Friend List. Thank you.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Peace, Bea
