Cookbook status

Please note:  In 2012, Linda, this group's creator, did a heroic effort and created a cookbook of our recipes that was sold to members as a fund raiser for Molly's Adopt a Sailor Project.  That cookbook is no longer available.   If anyone would like to volunteer to start another cookbook-publishing project, that would be great!

Linda, The cover, special pages and dividers are a great addition to the book.  I'm really glad you added them :) Are these the final pages, or are the names of the ships going to be added to the dividers?  I didn't know what I was looking at other than my sons ship.  Thanks again for all your hard work on this project.  I've posted on my fb about the books, but, I think a link to the book would work better than just my posting, and I will post again when a link is made.

Linda, as a member on this site I can access and post to http://www.navyformoms.com/group/navymomcookbook/forum/topics/do-yo...  and order books because I just happen to know now that the books are $23 and if I scroll through multiple entries below at some point I will find the address to which payment is to be mailed (cuz I already did that).  Were I to post on FB to encourage purchases, anyone interested in purchasing needs to have a link they can go to that tells them exactly what they are getting such as 'x' # recipes from Navy Moms, that benefits...who/what?  I know it is Molly something, but I can't find it on the website to clarify the charity's mission.  The link needs to tell them where to place their order, how much it costs, etc...without them having to become a member of the site just to post their purchase request since they may have no interest in belonging to it.

If you give me that info I would be glad to put it together nicely and help promote sales.  I found your site and joined then learned of the cookbook and added recipes because I knew it was for a charitable and honorable cause and I wanted to support that.  But I am not conversant in the goals of the fundraising.  Wanting to help--effectively :-)

Thank you!  Harriet

Linda, is it possible to make up a short advertisement for the book that would be suitable for us to put on our facebook pages?  Something concise that tells what it is, why it was made/who benefits, the cost and the link that would take potential purchasers to where they can place their order?  If there were something like that I would post it and also pass it on to my son's Family Readiness Officer for her to share with the families of CLB13 out of Pendleton.

Nancy,

Just wondering if you had mailed my 2 #2 cookbooks yet.  I have been watching for them and didn't know if they got lost in the mail.  You posted on July 28th that you would be mailing them soon.  Thanks for everything.

Someone didn't like my post on facebook and it disappeared so I told friends to message me and I would give them details on how to purchase a book

Should we also post on the Molly's Adopt a Sailor facebook page?

Hi Everyone,  This is the post that I put up on my facebook page.  Linda if you have a chance can you let me know if my post worked?  Thank you. Jeannine

To all my dear friends..... I have been involved with creating a cookbook with a group of Navy Moms for the benefit of the Molly's Adopt a Sailor project.  Please check out the web site http://mollysadoptasailor.com/ This cookbook has most of my favorite recipes and other moms who love to cook too.  The cookbooks will be $23.00 each including shipping, this cookbook will have at least 400 recipes in it, it will be a 3 ring binder and there will be colored pictures. If you want to use paypal the email address is snipemom2008@yahoo.com. If you would rather send money order or cashiers check in the mail please send Payment made out to Navymom Cookbooks 515 Bruin Ave Pearl Ms39208.  Make sure that you reference my name, your name, address and how many cookbooks you would like.  I don't receive any credit for your purchase but it gives Linda the organizer someone to contact if she has any questions as I am a member of the group.  I hope you will take this opportunity to get a great cookbook and help the men and women who serve our country.

Linda, the back pic is so cool!  It's not my son's ship, but the same class!  Can't wait for my books!
