Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

 I  should be able to stitch up a few for the cause. I will send you  my square for that quilt  over the weekend , first part of next.week. Hey I managed to bet my crafts out of my bedroom. I am on a roll.

We are looking for Seamstresses and Pillowcase decorators to create pillowcases for the USS Stennis Deployment this year. I could use all the volunteers I can get please let me know if you are interested in helping? God Bless

HI Nita..thank you so much for joining us here. We are small. Feel free to add posts all over the place here or add discussions as you wish. I need to update, but have been busy with the Bush project. So nice to be among creative people, I AGREE!!!!! Lets have fun with our personal projects and post some of your creations by all means. Want to live through everyone elses ideas too!

 Hi everybody. this looks like a fun group to be in. D W G While I was on your page, I was curious to see how many groups we were in together. I saw this one and decided to check it out. I had writen another post  for this  group, but somehow I deleted it. so  I had to rewrite it. I am happy to be among my creative friends. I hope you like the square I did for Brian's  quilt. I will get that in the mail to you soon.

That sounds like so much fun LLovemysailor do share your dress with us privately love making gowns so much. Very stressfull but so satisfying ! Jealous ! Thanks so much. I am still waiting on MOM she is very busy right now. I hope it brings comfort. Dori has had some great ideas. Can not wait to see how your quilt for Tim turns out. Have Fun. :)

D-W-G, I'm going to be out of the loop for a few months. After I finish Tim's quilt, I am doing a rather large wedding. The wedding is not until early August, but I have the wedding dress to do. She also has a large number of bridesmaid and junior bridesmaids.

Good luck with the Quilt for Brian. I'm sure you can get help for his quilt.
