Hi. Don't know if the Navy Wife or Navy Mom of this sailor is on N4Ms but I want to extend my condolences to the family of Hospital Corpsman Edwin Gonzalez. May he rest in peace and may God comfort his family. Blessings,

Hi, My condolences to all of the families who have lost family members in our wars. There have been so many in Iraq and Afghanistan and I read that they recently identified 2 more from WWII. My love and prayers go out to all of you. You can be proud of them for their brave service to our country and may they rest in peace. May God help you through the loss of your loved one. It is a pain that never goes away but with the help and support of others and time, hopefully it will be just a little bit easier for you to bear. Blessings,

Thank you. I did get the address for the Swink parents.
I have closed my receiving messages from N4M for awhile. I now have over 190 emails and I cannot handle that many at a time. So, I will sort through and answer each of you. I need to learn more about this system, which BunkerQUEENBee sent me info on. Blessings,

Thank you ladies for all of your messages. I really do care about you, I am just not used to receiving 111 emails at once besides my other work on the computer. If you sent me a message, please just be patient and I will get back to you...Blessings,

I thought I had an address for "Doc" Swink's mom but I was wrong. Does anyone have it so I can send her a letter? I sent a message to Irene but no reply yet. I am amazed how many emails come through every day! It can be overwhelming. Blessings,

Oh my gosh, Irene McClure! I am so sorry to hear about Neal. I will definitely keep the family in prayers and may God grant Neal eternal rest in peace. So sad. It breaks my heart every time I hear of any of our service members being killed. Those poor famililes suffer so much pain. Let me know if you have an address you want me to send a card or letter of support to them. May God comfort you as well since his sister is your friend. Blessings, Betty

AngieFromWA:BUDS Mom/ HM alumnus,
Thank you for the warm welcome. I am so glad to find other Navy Moms! I am also a member of Soldiers' Angels, a nonprofit organization started by a lady whose son was deployed and told her there were many soldiers who never received letters and support like he did. She could not sit back and let that happen so her initial efforts to comfort and support our troops has grown into a large organization with many teams in different ways. Unfortunately, I personally have not seen very many deployed Navy service members come through so I hope we can get more Navy and Marines adopted by a Soldiers' Angel who will send them a letter once a week and a care package once a month. I used to do that but now I serve on a number of other teams including one that writes to the families of our fallen heroes. It grieves me so that so many very young people are being killed in this war in the sandbox. But it is not the same type of organization as Navy for Moms. This is such a great place for us Navy Moms to get support and give support! Whoohoo for Navy for Moms and all of you who are a part of it. Blessings, Betty
