We have Successfully completed 6 months at Great Lakes Boot Camp. She is still there waiting for her orders. We are thinking another 2-3 months... Oh well, she is safe and sound and getting paid to wait. It was supposed to be 8 weeks :)

Mine, times are definitely tough. If you can't make it have your son by the DVD much less expensive and worth it. Best of luck. Hope something great happens and you can make it. Best of luck

I know how you all are feeling...It's exciting, emotional, and scary...I also believe in prayer...I am also glad to have this website for support...Its very informative, and allows me to see what to expect...my son was stationed in Great Lakes last year he graduated March 11, 2011...we had a great time...We were soooooo proud and are proud of our son...but in the back of our mind we still feel anxious...He is now stationed at 29 Palms and is learning so much...I am happy and relieved that he is still in the Great USA....Congratulations to all those new graduates....and god bless all who are over seas...Prayer's to all...

Reed's mom,
I can totally relate. I spent 1 day in bed crying because she was hurt and was going to miss graduation. But it turned out ok! Prayers are with you and your family.
