Tammy hope your recovery time is short! Also, thanks for starting this group.

Thanks to all for the well wishes.  I think I had over done it the weekend before my post.  I am better but had to visit the Chiropractor before that happened.  Still having some trouble with my knee caps, but not as bad. (Have not had trouble with the knee caps before, just the knees!) The time change has affected me some also.  I hate this Springing Forward!!  It messes up what little schedule I have in sleeping!  But I have survived it for many years now and know I will again.  Our weather has warmed up and that is nice.  I am just praying my allergies don't get much worse.

Hope you all had a great St. Patrick's Day and have a great weekend!

@Tammy, hope you continue to do well after your surgery. I have had some back issues lately, but not going the surgery route.

@Rhonda, hoping you are feeling better soon. The weather has so much to do with how we feel on a daily basis, most people don't realize it. Let's pray that it doesn't send us on a roller coaster for too long before it settles in. We can hope anyway. The weather changes really do me in at times, when it happens I don't get much done. So, time will tell how this Spring comes in.

I am having a flare up right now like I have not had in a long time.  I guess it is a flare up anyway.  Some of the pain is not like what I have had in the past, so it makes me wonder, but I don't know what else it could be.

Have a great weekend!

Hello ladies, just found this site and thought I would join in. I live with Fibro and have for the past 14 years. In the beginning it was really bad, the kids were little and it was hard on a daily basis. Over the course of time, it doesn't have me. I do have limitations at times, but I have done the natural route to keep things in check. It has worked over the years. I have chronic pain from a car accident 30+ years ago, then developed Fibro and now get through each day. On the tougher days, I just take it easy. I have a wonderful and supportive husband and our K's have helped over the years. They understand and are very willing to step in and help where they need to. I have many friends that also have Fibro as well as two of my three sisters. I also know that our mom had it as well. She suffered greatly when we were kids, I went to the doctor many times and of course, he never found anything. Things back then were "all in your head." My dad never understood, he too told her that. It has been a long journey, but each day is different and I just roll with it. Gentle ((((Hugs))))))

Beverly, I am in NE Oklahoma.  Thanks for the offer.  My psychiatrist at the time did not think I was bad enough physically and emotionally to qualify for disability.  I have not tried through my medical doctor.  I enjoy babysitting in the nursery at church and do so 3 days a week, but it is starting to wear me out.  I did join the Fibromyalgia group on FaceBook.  Maybe I will see you there!

Rhonda881 it is hard to get doctors to help people get their disability, I was blessed the dr that I worked for helped me alot, but it took me 3 yrs. Keep looking until you find a doc that will help you. I can check with some of the ladies that I chat with on facebook about finding u a doc. Let me know where u live and i will check on it for you. Hope you have a blessed day
