Hi everyone! My husband is still in BC. Pardon me if i had a lot of questions since I am so new to this. (ship12/div224 PIR 07/08/2011)
1. I just received an application form DEER and TDP, how soon does this apply from the time you submitted the forms?
2. How and where can I avail a military ID? (I'm form San Francisco)
3. Do they get paid while in training or after they graduate BC? Do this go directly to their bank account?
4. BAH how soon does this apply? I was told you don't get BAH or pay check only until SR graduates from BC.
Please help, I'm really confused..

MyPay is something that shows their pay coming and going into their bank account and LES is a "Leave and Earning Statement". Pretty much just shows what they're being paid for, etc.
Oh and also, with the DMV, what do you need with them? give me a little more information and I might be able to tell you what you need to do. Also, you husband won't be able to get POA while in boot unless they give him the option to do that. But you will have to go in person, together to the family support center to get POA. Each base does it different, but if you go there, they will lead you to the right person! I hope this helps. I will get on later and see if you responded and try to help further!
I would go and ask for that back! I had to use it when I lost my military ID one time, plus you'll need it if/when you have kids, or get them a military ID when they turn 8. I'm sure if you can't get it back from them that you can get a new one somewhere, but I don't know how to do that. Sorry!!! Maybe your husband can help you with that information.

1) You will be on Tricare Standard immediately after getting your ID and going to the Tricare office, but your Tricare Prime does not begin until the next month on the 1st.
2) go to this website to find your closest DEERS office
3) military pay is required to be direct deposit; if your SR did not have an account (or their account information), they will be required to make a new bank account to deposit their money into
4) I think BAH applies immediately if you are listed as a dependent on their paperwork and if your address is correct on the paperwork. My husband's LES deposit reflect his E-3 pay and a corresponding BAH for my zip code.
Keep in mind, you won't receive a deposit until a month out from the time he got to BC
