Anyone livig in San Diego- Is there anyone in the Navy that helps with moves to San Diego? I'm completely lost, and terrified I wont find housing.. My husband will be in Buds, so he wont have the time to help me.. Does the Navy have housing that's off base, or what ? What do I need to look for and do ?

I have a question for someone, anyone.. My husband is going to pre buds directly after bootcamp. Would it be worth it to just move up there those two months so that we could see each other??

I miss my husband so much.. And today being Easter and we can't even spend it together, just makes me want to cry. I'm ready for bootcamp to be long gone!

Jenny and anna mac, thank you for the welcomes! It's definitely hard but I received his form letter in the mail yesterday. I think those few sentences he wrote at the bottom will hold me over for a long time. I haven't stopped smiling since I got it. Things are looking up! I mailed out FIVE letters that I had written while waiting for his address. lol He'll be thrilled when he gets them. I'm sure he'll loooove the drawing of the spider I had to kill on my own since he is gone. LOL Gotta keep it interesting, right?! Hope you all are doing well!!

anna mac....YOU CAN DO THIS! I felt the same way, but you have to be strong for your husband. You will always miss him, but the pain and lonliness will get easier to manage. It may be a few weeks, even a month, but you will learn to manage and you will get into a routine. But feel this emotions and grow from them. Your marriage will get so strong!

anna_mac......i can't tell you that it gets easier, but I can tell you that you can do this! You will learn ways to make it through the day. My hubby is at bootcamp and has been gone since the beginning of february. It's still hard but just think of the day you will get to see him again :) they say that military wives are molded from the strongest stuff and if the love is there you can make it! Keep your head up and try to stay positive.

Navygurl:I am so sorry to hear that she treats you like that :( I am so blessed to actually LOVE my in-laws and they love me. But I guess just do whatever keeps the peace, ya know? I just can't understand why anyone would ever treat another human being this way...?? Sorry I am not much help in this situation & very sorry to hear about your m/c :( And just be excited about your hubby coming home to you! Good Luck and just enjoy the time ya'll have with family & friends and if she can't put aside differences for a few hours for her son, then obviously she's just way too selfish! I am sure you'll have an awesome reunion w/your hubby =)
