Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Heather:so glad you'll be able to go with him now!! My hubby graduates bootcamp Dec 30th, and we can't wait! The he's off to A school in TX! Good luck with having a smooth move and getting settled!!

I posted this to all of my other groups, but u may appreciate it too :) HAHA, I am rolling on the floor right now! OK, so my baby boy asked me for a snack....well first he asked for fruit snacks, then goldfish! So, I looked at him and said ok, pick one snack you can only have one b/c it's getting close to dinnertime...and this is what he said in reply: OK, how bout 2 fishys mom? LOL the look on his face was so hilarious! He acts so old sometimes, but so serious! Thought ya'll would enjoy this...he's so cute! = )

hi Smoke! I am a new Navy wife! we've been married 3 years but my hubby is in bootcamp right now, i definitely have my days! feel free to vent! and take it one day at a time-thats all you can do! do u have children?

Yes patricia11! My hubby left Oct 28th! He graduates Dec 30th! He has called 2 times-I am lucky tho! He called on his 3rd and 4th week. I got my first real letter about 2 1/2 weeks in :) But remember no news is good news!

Thanks Ashley! I know...our 2 year old will need alot of reinforcements in the diaper bag! LOL Like snacks, trains! LOL thats a long time to keep a lil one waiting but it'll be so worth it! WOOHOO Only 26 days until i head to great lakes!

julie P: yes they do video tape graduation, the next time u write to your recruit, tell him to order one! If he doesn't oder one then you can, but make sure he hasn't already done it...and sorry u can't afford it :(

i know...its crazy! i had no idea the base is like its own huge city, with street lights and all LOL im from JAX, FL so im used to a huge city but i had no idea! i think i'm going to LOVE this lifestyle---Happy Thanksgiving!!! Can't wait to get my letter Friday ;)
