Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

i am looking into staying at candlewood suites as of right now! we will need a suite b/c of our son! and if we put him to bed, we want to be able to stay up and talk and not wake him-ya know? but, i haven't made any reservations yet-will probably do that w/our first paycheck on dec 1st!! ONLY 41 DAYS!!

yes barb - i am positive that you will!!! You will have some bad days and some really good days...i got my 2nd letter today! and hoping for another letter thursday :) i will let ya know and i would almost bet $$ you will get ur first letter thursday too :) u can always msg me if u have any questions or need to VENT! LOL

ONE call every 3 DAYS? WOW...I don't think thats normal-but I AM VERY JEALOUS!! I haven't gotten ONE! And yes Barb I got my DEERS packet last Friday. Yours should be coming if u haven't gotten it yet :) 42 days until I am in GL!!

Im sorry you miss him---but we can both do this!! LOL I still haven't received the phone call that supposedly they get in the third week...I guess we'll see?

Hey NY:my hubby & I will be celebrating our 3 yr wedding anniversary on Dec 23rd! He is currently at Great Lakes for bootcamp(arrived 10/28) we have a 2 year old son and it's been really hard for him! But we write him every day and will be able to see him for PIR 12/30! Only 42 days to go!! My hubby will be going to San Antonio, TX for MA school in Jan! Nice to meet ya = )

Heather that would be awesome if you can look for me...my hubby's PIR is 12/30 and my son would probably need a 3T. Let me know what you find-and Ashley, I can't sew yet! LOL That's one of my projects to learn while my hubby is away! I bought the material to make my son some pajama pants...and then will move on to the sailor outfit hopefully w/some supervision from my mom/aunt! LOL

ok thanks Heather! I don't think my hubby has C school but i have also never heard of it? LOL Does anyone know where I can find a blue sailor suit to fit my 2 1/2 year old? I want him to match daddy for PIR. As of right now, I am probably just going to make one...
