FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

my husband is an AD . he was on hold for a months when he was in Pcola waiting to class up. I went to stay with him. it was taking too long for me ;)

we are in goose creek sc, we were able to purchase some furniture for our children. I finally have my house in order and all paperwork complete. It only took a month and a half, lol. Now we cant wait to do stuff on our bucket list

haha yeah I agree they totally got me through basic too.

My husband is Aircrew! He has been on hold for the past several weeks and just started class today. hallelujah! Hold is the worst

Russellwife...I know what you mean :) moms EVERYWHERE lol. but they got me through basic that's for sure :) what is your husbands rate? my husband went to A school in Pensacola too! :)

So glad I found this page! I've been stuck on the Mom's page and everyone is talking about their sons and not their husbands! My husband will have been gone for 3 months TOMORROW. but heck it feels WAAAY longer than that! He is in A school in Pensacola right now!

WooHoow! DEERS letter came in! Going to the Fort Worth base tomorrow to get my ID card.
