Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My husband has been in boot camp for11 weeks and I never received a box of his items. I don't know what's going on and I'm growing very anxious.

For those that need Power of Attorney's (POA's) ~

Here is the forms the Navy used for it's sailors.  These have been certified by the Government and have passed every legal authority possible.  These will pass the test of time if challenged in a courtroom since they are made by our Government   All that is needed is to change some of the wording to meet your deppers needs.

Why pay for something that you can do yourself, that uses the military lingo, and was written and reviewed by our government?  Like lemonelephant says just get a free online one.  To me, this is probably the best free online one that you customize.

New to this page. My husband just left for boot camp 10-2-12 (1 week down, 7.5 more to go!!) anybody else have a spouse whos graduation date is November 30th? in Div. 022

Finally on! My husband left for boot camp on 9/6 - anyone PIR 10/02? SHIP 12 DIV 362. I am so new to this new lifestyle and i am literally breaking down without my husband :(

I got my husband's box of stuff yesterday. I was really excited about it. And he wrote me a note on a small piece of paper and put it in his shoe. It made me feel better, becase i have really been missing him.

Exactly my thought I've had none to give me any inside inform or tips so I wouldnlove to do that for you!!Send me a friend request my kindle is dumb so I have a hard time doing g that kind of stuff.
