Navywifekita- mine grads the 11th, & he just said in todays letter that he just got the info that he'll be in groton for training (which he already knew) & the # of days for it (im assuming this was just the info for BESS though cause the # makes about 8 weeks). They have additional training after BESS before they goto A-school though & that's about another 8 weeks. Didnt know we could move right after BESS. :-/ thought we had to wait to find out how long A-school is first. (hubs is secf, won't know specifics til he's placed).

Julie- we have a 4 (almost 5) year old, and I felt the same way. Always keeping the emotions in check for him & then feeling bad at the same for not crying over my hubs. It's hard some days (especially in the beginning), but once the letters start it helps. Stay busy (with kids it isn't hard, lol). Add me as a friend on here if you like. :) hang in there!

Got my husbands "box" today :( talk about tough... The only thing missing in hos box was him. I have done so good lately but the box was rough for me. We habe a 5 year old so I am trying to stay strong for him. I almost feel bad for not crying for my husband. I guess today is a hard day for me.

I'm a mom, but be sure and join Boot Camp for Mom's and your husband's ship and division number if he is in boot camp. Lots of great information and you feel a little more connected.  Hang in there ladies!!!

Kimmery- Totally understand. We have a 4 year old, and if it weren't for currently living with the in-laws, I don't know how we would have made it through the first month. Thought we had enough money set back, but guess couple auto payments got dorked up and double-dipped. Was soooo hoping he'd be one of the rare ones that happened to get the first check early. lol wishful hoping. But, it was all there by week 4 so we're fine now. Just no way to tell if the BAH or separation pay is there or anything. Even the recruits don't have access yet to their pay stubs. Don't know when they get the info on how to pull them up on the computer.
