Hubby has been gone for nearly 3 weeks now and I am doing good, but miss him so much it hurts! Missed his first call, but just got another one today :) It was so good to hear his voice, if I only I could hear it every night! Still haven't gotten a letter though :(

It's usually included in their initial contract if they are going to have C school. I think for certain rates they can choose in boot camp or A school if they want to adds C school but they have to add time to their initial enlistment. I am not too familiar with corpsman school except I remember when my friend's husband was in corpsman A school he got to choose which C school he wanted to go to (basically which medical area he wanted to concentrate in). They also give them a choice of going FMF which may change their initial contract as well.

Question ladies about A school... do sailor choose C school or is it like when they signed up that they told them these jobs are available?  My husband will be going to San Antonio and I am wondering how that works with c school.
