FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Yeah but when they are in Phase III He can leave for the weekends and come stay with you as long as he is back by 10 sunday eveneing!

lol ohh ok. yea I went in phase II and he could come off base after class had to be back by 10 during the week then on the weekends had to be back by midnight and I went and picked him up abt 430/5 am it depends on the barrack he is in when he can leave. but phase III is when they can leave the base. ok well add me as a friend then go to my page and look at my groups you should be able to go from there. or it might say I commented over there recently on my feed.

No not to live with him but to go see him. Like what phase does it take for you to go spend the weekend with them off base?

OH ant theres not a "phase" that they can live with you. Once he is phase two he can put in a "brown bagger chit". To do this he to change his page 2 to a local address and turn in a lease. Only 3 rates are guarunteed brown baggers according to the welcome aboard packet - AE, AT, and i dont remember the third. but others can get it its just harder.

at NAS phase one takes 2 weeks if the sailor completes all his watch quals =)

then 2more weeks to phase 2, then 2 more to phase 3 if the sailor doesnt get in to any trouble

Them Phasing up depends on them and how soon they finish the things they need to do.
