Thank goodness no one has said that to me... I would have slaped them! i just keep telling myself that I can do this... I can do this... 40 more days.. 40 more days... I am so worried about missing the phone call!! I cant wait to hear his voice!
40 more days. its on the 5/6/11 countdown page LOL
I slept with my husband's shirt in my bed too. Until all the smell came out. I cried in front of my son a lot, but I think its good our children see us having different emotions, it teaches them that its okay to be sad sometimes. People kept telling me to stop crying, it isn't like he's dead. I wanted to slap those people! But I'm sure you will get mail soon. Plus they get phone calls pretty soon too I think.
4 letters!!!! You are sooo lucky! I am super jealous of you know! lol I haven’t gotten any yet, but no one in our division has yet. I told my Daughter that her Daddy went off to school, and she seems to understand that better then anything else I could come up with. We also put a sticker on the calendar every night to mark the night off. She runs in the house from daycare and the first thing she does is sticker the calendar. Its cute.
I cry all the time as well. Its hard not to cry in front of my daughter, I don’t want her to think anything is wrong. When she asks about him and things like if we can call him its gets hard again. She is doing so well though. I however, am going crazy waiting to hear that he is doing okay. I sleep in his t-shirts at night sprayed with his cologne. (Sounds so sad when I type it out.. lol) It helps me sleep at night though. Well I hope the letters bring you good news! How many more days do we have of this?? Lol..
So it seems like we are in the same boat. I also my DEERS stuff this week, but no letter yet. How are you doing with everything? The first week was really hard for me. I see that you have a son, I have a 3 year old daughter that is being stronger then I am… however she is starting to act out a little more then usually. However that could just be because she is 3!! Lol. Have you gotten a letter yet??
Thanks, Ashia!
Ladies! I just realized I haven't seen my husband in a little over a month. I was in a horrible mood today and I think that's why. Luckily I'm going to Pensacola to see him next weekend. Hopefully next week will fly by like the week that just passed!
