I have a call in to the financial counselor on the base closest to me. Unfortunately she didn't call me back today. I'll call her again tomorrow.
Monica, problem with that is he's still in A school and his schooling is less than 20 weeks. I was told the Navy wouldn't move me over there if it less than that. Trust me, I would LOVE to live in Florida, hehe!
Ok, ladies...I have a question for you:
My husband went into the Navy with bad credit due to paying his bills late thanks to not being able to find a job for almost a year before enlisting. I haven't had a job for a year due to being laid off. We live in an area where there just aren't a lot of jobs being offered. I'm taking care of the bills while he's in A school. We need some sort of debt relief and we cannot get any type of consolidation loan, personal loan, etc. due to his credit score and my current unemployment (I have a great credit score but they won't put me as primary b/c of no income). I need help getting through this! I feel like I'm going to cry. We're newly married, no savings due to the LOVELY economy, and I'm nervous we won't have any money to move when he gets his orders in a few months!
Megs- I have been having the same problem! I left it alone and figured I would try another day? Not sure what to do on that one...but I can't log in either
Jenacfs- I'm not pregnant, but have been irrationally emotional and crying all the time since my husband left on 2/15...as soon as he left, I had to take antibiotics for an infected tooth, which messed with my birth control, and then I had to get the tooth pulled, and now its that time of the month...and I will start crying and getting depressed for everything, because everything reminds me of him. I know it will get better, but I understand being so sad without him. I write him everyday, and that helps!
