of course, depending on what rate your hubby is, the Murphy Canyon/ Canyon View would be better. And also, Areo Ridge Murphy Canyon is nice, but I'd still prefer Serra Mesa.

Serra Mesa

Hope this works!

Courtney (Adam's wife)- I am near Murphy Canyon and personally, I don't like it, but I do like Serra Mesa, which is where I am living right now. The houses are really nice and most of them are remodeled! I'd say, keep the BAH and move into Serra Mesa! :)   Murphy Canyon is ok, but when we were looking both my husband and I decided we like Serra Mesa better. I will find you a link for that housing and come back here and post it for you.

Anyone live in Murphy Canyon housing in SD? Do you like it and recommend base housing or would say "keep the BAH."  We'll probably be there in June or July! :)

My husband left for RTC on 2/23/2011 and I am so ready to see him on graduation! 4/22/2011! We have only been married a year and a half but have been together almost two years. Going from being able to at least talk everyday to nothing has been rough, but I grow stronger and more in love with him everyday! Take care everyone!

I don't post here often, but I ran into a rather large speed bump last night. Last night was the first night I cried myself to sleep since boot camp because I couldn't see my husband. I'm lucky in that I get to talk to him at least once a day plus we text all the time (he's in A school). I told him last night that my problem is that when he was in Great Lakes it was like he disappeared so I just kind of put him out of my mind for the time being. Not totally, but hopefully y'all know what I mean. Now that he's 3 hours away from me it's different. I want to drive over every weekend and we don't have the money for it right now.

*sigh* I just hope he classes up sooner than what they have projected so we can live together again!

SAwife11- Yes, my husband left 2/9. His PIR is 4/8... I just got a letter (well 2 actually) saturday. So, it will take some time to hear from them, but just know the letters are coming!!

My husband and I have been together for 4 years now. The mot we have ever been apart, was a week or two. So it's hard. But like TropikalParadize said-

but every day down is one more closer to graduation!

My hubby is at bootcamp too...he got there 2/15 and his PIR is 4/15....we have done long distance for a year before, but for the last year have been together, so its really hard to go back to him being away....but every day down is one more closer to graduation!
