FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

KLP- I'll give you my honest experience.. Bootcamp was a NIGHTMARE for me.. :( I was miserable the whole time, and stayed depressed.. Although, it DOES get easier, just find whatever you can to try to pass time, that's all the advice I really have.. The day of graduation will make the whole experience WELL worth the 7-8 weeks of loneliness though. It's just a long waiting process.. My husband graduated from basic in May, and we're still not able to live together.. it will be exactly one year from the date he left before we are together again.. Stay strong, and good luck to you both!. Oh yea, and WRITE WRITE WRITE! Everyday! :) They LIVE for mail call, I promise! :) :)

hey everyone my husband ralph left for bootcamp today and he just called me from his cell phone it was so good to hear his voice but how do i keep my mind from missing him so much can anyone help me

mike just found out they will pay .16 cents per mile.. we are 2100 so thats great we just have to wait 7 days to get the money so its a waiting game.

we are leaving the day after thanksgiving doing a DITY move but its a 4 day trip with everyone. so its gonna be interesting. Louisiana to Fallon Nevada. Fun Fun Fun

My Ex's class they had a day where all the sailors (including single sailors) go to the office i forget what its called personal propety office maybe? and the instructors set up appts for all the guys to get their moves all set up.
