As the days pass, it gets harder to try to hide the fact that I'm lost without my sailor to be!! We've been married for 2 years but have been together for about 7.5 years! My son misses his daddy too. He's only 2 years old and when I showed him a pic of his dad yesterday he smiled from ear to ear then began kissing the picture and rubbing it around his face! When I put the pic away and said "say bye bye", my son waved his hand and said "bye dad". I cried a lot! It was so emotional for me! I cannot wait until October 8th when my family will be complete again!

Hello Hiswife,It is very hard to keep your feelings back from kids but your doing good for trying.I know how hard it is to do that. When my ex went off to War it was hard on the kids.I cried but only in the shower, that way no one sees or hears it.Congrats on the wedding. We got married June 19 of this year.I hope you get the box soon. While you wait for it try to write letters and cut out comics from the paper to send him.Have a very blessed day.

Trace- Congratulations! All of that waiting is paying off! I can't seem to find anything with his scent, no matter how hard I look. I was able to talk to him again for a couple of mins. the other day, yay! He told me that he lost 9lbs. in a week and a half! :( He is hanging in there, though! - I wish I could be there to take care of him. thanks
