If you're feeling blue here's a little task that can cheer you up as you help our sailors!
Molly's Adopt A Sailor project is up to #4 in the Pepsi Refresh Challenge! If you could text 100521 to 73774 (Pepsi Refresh) each day till the end of the month, you'll be helping to get grant money for postage to send moms' care packages to our deployed Sailors and Marines.

Hi Lilly, my husband also left for GL this past Monday, I haven't received his box of stuff yet though. I can't wait to get his address so I can finally start sending him letters! I started writing the day he left haha

LTLY...and Lilly = I completely agree with what you (LTLY) said about getting all those tears out. I had allotted time in the shower/bath to be my "sad time". Even though I live alone (now that he's gone). I would get in the shower and just wail and not worry about anybody hearing me. It also allowed for me not to hold everything inside and it come out at the wrong place at the wrong time (like at work people asking me how I am, or he is, etc.). I always felt so much better afterwards. He just graduated boot camp this last weekend...

I'm sorry Lilly I misread your post. My husband just graduated from bootcamp at GL. But I can still be helpful to you, since I just went through all that with my husband. Let me know if you have any questions, and I'll do my best to provide you with answers.

You're right! I can't wait to get his address to start mailing him the letters....Is there anyone in the group that their spouse left to GL this past Monday too?
