I'm all for planning and having at least 3 backups myself lol. Right now I am doing just that, 32 weeks prego and working on having me and all our stuff moved to GL before I have the baby. So, there is about 2 other backups for that. Like you FitzFam, I want to be with him all I can while we can do that! But I am also going there with the reality I'll be alone a lot with our new baby, no family around and we will be there around 13 months so it will be tough. But worth it even if we barely see each other.

Totally agree with you. I am learning new things every day it seems. But no matter what happens and all the unknowns, nothing makes my day like hearing his voice on the line for even 5 minutes! :) and I would go anywhere, wait any amount of time....just for the chance to see him!

FitzFam- one thing to keep in mind about visiting while he is in A School is whether he will have duty/watch on the weekend. If he has either one the weekend you visit, he can't leave base to see you. They get different schedules for that and is possible he will have some weekends off, but not a lot.

Ok I sent you a message...but he is an AO.

He is at North Island...he is in a squadron that goes out with different boats...I don't know which one he will be going out with next year, there are two that are doing two different cruises and he isn't sure which one they are sticking him on...when he gets back from this one that he is on he will know I think...

Same here...my husband will come off dets and go straight to another one that same week...My friend's husband just got back from a nine month and he is already going out again...

I agree with Navy Gurl...nothing in the navy is ever certain, especially their schedules. Don't get comfy with them because they are ever changing...

Try contacting personal property, if they don't have the info they will definitely know who you need to contact...

Um...you can be deployed on a ship for up to nine months...My husband is supposed to be doing an 8 month one next year...

Chrisbunny- Thanks! great info! I think we will most likely go with him. Great to know that he will potentially have to live on base before moving in with us. A-school is in Panama City for us. Fitzfam- From what I understand the Nave does not pay for you to move this time around. They pay for the move to the first duty station. Correct me if I am wrong anyone?
