Lol 3 wks is average. :] Glad you finally got some. <3 It takes a while for letters to process through so that may be why he hadn't received any when he wrote that letter. Date and number your letters so he knows when they were sent. :] And the homesick/beat down feeling-- normal. We all feel it oging through. Boot sucks. ha!

I have been sending mail, and I just got letters from him today!! It took 3 weeks, but I got them! And he hadn't received any of mine yet :( He's doing ok, homesick and a little beat down. Can't wait until PIR!!

Are you in contact with any of his family to see if they've received anything? Maybe he can't remember the address to send to, lol. :] And do you have his address? You can contact his recruiter and get it from him if not.

And it's hard, but that's why these sites exist. Glad you're reachign otu. :]

Thanks! He's been gone since May 31st. That's nice that they actually have a class, I didn't know that. I have found a lot of info on this site so far and I'm so thankful! And you're right, we'll be in the Navy for a while so I'm sure I will pick up on everything as I go along. It's just a big adjustment. Good to have access to other wives for support!

How long has he been gone?
I know it's hard, but trust me it is for him too. Boot sucked! lol

Not so much the same time, but he'd call every day. He's always been a doll. Reason I married him. LOL!

You'll be learning for a long time, so don't try to hard. And there IS a class!! At least at my command. Maybe his command will have a course for you to take. I know we provide a class that kind of helps the non-mil spouses learn about the Navy and kind of "get" why we do certain things we do. :]

But if you have questions, feel free to ask!

He graduates on July 30th...can't wait! I feel like he's been gone forever, and still no letters yet :'( so that makes it really hard. That's so sweet how your hubby called u at the same time every day, what a sweety! I am still learning all about this Navy stuff, it's a lot to take in. Just the simple things like terms and paperwork..they need a class, lol!

It's hard when you don't know people that "get it." And it's hard to learn how to deal with the seperation too. But no worries, it gets easier after boot. You learn to appreciate a simple phone call. My hubby would call me every night as soon as we were both off. This was back when we were still dating. Always such a darling. <3
:] When does your hubby graduate RNNW?

Hi everyone, I am new to the site so I'm glad to hear that there are so many others out there going through the same things I am! I have no friends with husband's in the service so I really need to start making some. SWCCWife7, it seems like what you say is very true. People have no idea, and my husband also is only in bootcamp. I guess this is how it's gonna be from now on, so I'm glad to find people that I can go to when I need some friends! So thank God for sites like this, and hello to all the navy wives :)

rochelle_talia_midori_geo- my husband and I got married before he got PSC to the middle east and it was such a good idea.. we get BAH and the best part is I get to visti him.. something I wouldnt have been able to if I was still the fiance. If you know already that you want to marry your man.. why wait?
