Hello ladies, so I have a question maybe someone can answer. So, my hubby just got to A-school and he ran into some issues so it looks like he's gonna be there for 6-9 mths before he'll finish school. Originally it was supposed to be for 9 wks but yea. So was curious to if the Navy would move us now that he'll be there longer. Anybody know who I'd talk to or does anybody have any info. Its been hard to go from the thought of 9 wks to 6-9mths. :(

Oh, yeah no. He's in A-school? Yeah, that's just part of the crud you gotta deal with. Nothing a letter is going to do other than cause your husbands some humiliation and discipline. Navy doesn't care about sleep [trust me] or about you so much really. There's weeks that pass by where the both of us are so busy thanks to the Navy, that nothing but MAYBE some dishes get done. Let alone errands, sleep, cuddle time, studying, etc.. Lame, but that's life in the military. lol

I must be lost...what does your husband do, Smoke? With the Navy you have to be able to roll with the changes. When we were in Japan my husband would come home from one det out to sea for a few months to be rolled onto another one within a week...I literally did not see him for almost the entire time we were there...Then there are days that he works days only to turn around and have to work nights and then in the same week back to days again. Perhaps there "purposely generated emergencies" are meant to train them and keep them on their toes.

Btw, if he's in training there's going to be a lot of BS and there's nothing you can do about it. Their behavior might be effecting what's going on. Even when he gets to his first command there might be a lot of BS, depending on his chain of command. I know there's more with my husband's than with mine.

Definitely go to the hospital girl. Trust me, don't go taking pills for things they weren't specifically prescribed for.

I meant "since" not "sense". Sorry. Tired.

You might want to ease up on the drinking and smoking. It would suck for you to get into an accident due to such and hurting yourself, let alone someone else. Plus, driving like that on base could really get you AND your husband in trouble sense he's responsible for you and your actions in the Navy's eyes.
