Glad it's not just me, lol.

How to talk to a Chief: Carefully and respectfully. Word it like you were talking to a boss at a professional company. Have him read it over or someone else in the Navy. Most of my Chiefs have been really relaxed, but mess with them wrong and it's game over.

What kind of program is your hubby in?

Ellon--

Too funny! Crazy to have found you on here! :]

That's awesome, hope he has some great options and gets what you guys are wanting. What are you hoping for?
I'm a Corpsman out in San Diego with my hubby. <3 He's an OS. [radar geek as he calls it.] I work at the Naval hospital here and actually take care of all the new babies and momes that come through. Couldn't ask for much better.

YES! I REMEMBER HIM! He was one of the intelligent people in the group. Lord, what a miserable bunch we had. I don't think anyone could have screwed up more and came together as little as we did. Absurd!

Wow, almost done?! I've been in the fleet for 6 mo now and I feel that my schooling took forever! lol Too funny. Do you guys know where you're going yet?

@Brendaw: yes it is farmland..something I am not used to. So personally Lemoore was not my cup of tea, though I did make girlfriends there that made being stationed there more than bearable! So I guess it wasn't all too bad. :) Housing there is BEAUTIFUL and I miss the house I lived in...I will probably compare all base housing to it for a long time! But like I said in a previous post, it has gotten more developed....my husband is from a town like 45 min away from there and I can definitely see a difference now from what it used to be like.
