Welcome Subwife:)  We are here for you if you need us!!!

Sandy, I'm glad you got your call, I was not able to get one from Chris, I didn't think to give him a calling card before he went and We only have cell phones so no "collect calls".  Needless to say I was a very sad mom, but I too wrote him every day even if was just a little note, it went in the mail.

Tiramisu.....congratulations!!!!!

Thanks, Kelly, I will.  So you've seen there's an enormous difference between the refundable and non-refundable fares!!

Dee:  Re: the Blue Star Moms...the other day, I saw a car in a parking lot with a small blue star magnet on it.  Do you have any idea where I can get one?  I don't live close to any clubs.

Happy news:  my son passed RLP last week in Newport...a big relief.  :)

Sandy, now she is in the hands of the Navy.   Next will be the kid in a box.  At three weeks they get a mandatory call home, but they can also 'earn' a call home if their division does well in something.   I got a call at 1 week but wasn't expecting it and missed it.  I was some upset.  The ID on the phone # says pay phone....

And welcome Subwife.  I'm glad you posted just to say hello.  Our group seems to be growing like crazy lately.

Our group is presently planning a luncheon but we haven't picked a restaurant yet!!  LOL.    Come on, we can do this!!
