Kelly I agree with you "Lucky him" LOL  OMG was (or is) this storm terrible!! Normally I love the snow, but this is awful.  The wind is worse than I've ever seen.  Hope you all have pulled thru it without any troubles:)

DeeM,  As much as we hated to see our son leave on Christmas day, I guess he was lucky he left when he did!  He had to check in by 7am on 12/26 & he arrived back & checked in the night before thankfully!  I'm sure he is back in his shorts & flip flops as I type this....like I said....Lucky him!    : )

DeeM I'm so sorry, the time always goes by too fast as it is, let alone when it's cut short...

I haven't had the chance to check in as we were told at work we could have unlimited overtime (NEVER has that ever happened) so I took the opportunity and busted my butt!!!

I am soooo very jealous of all of you for having your Sailors (and Marines) home with you but I am very very happy for all of you.

Thank you all again for thoughts and prayers for Alex(andria) she is doing very very well:)

I just got off the phone with Chris, they had a nice Christmas with Jacob and loved all their gifts I sent (happy face!!!)  But best of all he gave Jennifer a very pretty diamond YAY!!!!!

I hope all of you (my NH Navy Moms) and your families had a wonderful Christmas, even tho it's not over yet:)

DeeM, Thanks for the story as it certainly makes us proud!

And Kelly, GREAT PIC!!!

Merry Christmas to all you lovely ladies!  I'm glad the surgery went well Lisa, hope they're home and recovering.

I had the surprise of the lifetime Friday night.  At 11:45 p.m. my son who was not going to be able to leave Great Lakes due to a mix up with a pin number came home!  The best Christmas present ever!  Of course I wasn't prepared gift wise for him because he told us he couldn't receive pkgs. in his temporary housing.  Last minute scramble - so worth it!  Got to run, have a family party tonight and he's going to surprise everyone there!
