FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi, DeeM, welcome. Wow that sounds amazing!! What a project and the trees are awesome.
NH moms - well, it's been 12 hours since I heard that my son will be posted in Harrisburg, PA.....and he has already had a change in his orders....where is he off too? See if you can find it on a map..... Diego Garcia!!! It's out in the middle of the Indian Ocean....anybody got a paper bag? I'm feeling a little dizzy...

Got a phone call late last night...my Sailor will be home for Christmas!!!! He will be here for 2 weeks. Being stationed in Harrisburg, PA.

Arla, I'm so happy for you that he called and not expecting it was probably even better:)

And Cheryllynn, I should have cried it would have been easier (and probably looked better to someone else LOL) if I did rather than trying not to, I was ok on the plane, it was the airport where I looked like my face was having spasms haha. And NO I did not do any shopping today, I had to work in that mess LOL.

Happy day after Thanksgiving everyone!!! Did anyone go out shopping... Not me,, I just got up and hour ago. Still having my first cup of coffee.
Lisa, love the pics and I can imagine how hard it is to leave...had to do that twice myself. My daughter lives in LA and I flew down for both births of grandkids. Cried on the plane...but sure was thankful to have been there!!!
Yay for the phone calls. Glad you got one Arla. That must have been soooo exciting.

Well my friends, there's three pics of about 1,000 LOL. I made Chris promise me he'd email me new pics every Sunday, so all of you can watch him grow right along with me:)
