Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I'm so glad I could put a smile on your face Kelly, I know he makes me smile:) I'll be thinking of your son and praying too. A positive attitude means a lot in those circumstances......keep us posted!!

Lisa, I just have to Thank You for sharing such happy news this morning. It has been a very stressful week of worrying about our son who in the thick of SWCC BCT training & his group is now down to 11 guys from the 40 that started 3wks ago! He called Wed. night & was still hanging tough & had a positive attitude, I am praying that he call tonight...I just need to hear his voice! Seeing little Jacob was such a beautiful sight for me this morning....thank's again!

Thank you Kelly, I have to say I can pat myself on the back, Chris was 9.14 1/2 and 22" and I did it all natural and in only 58 minutes LOL. Altho I can laugh now, I'm sure I was NOT laughing then haha. But thank you again, he is so cute, and brings back soo many happy memories :)

Lisa, CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of Jacob!! How amazing that we are able to see a pic of him at only a minute old!! : ) My son Kevin was 10lbs 8oz & 22" long, so boy do I know that a C-section was the way to go! I'm glad that they are all doing well & that you are home safe! Looking forward to seeing more pics of your cutie Grandson!!

Well my friends I am back, Jacob came into this world on 11/10/10 by c-section, luckily the dr's realized the night before he was too big to pass naturally so Jennifer did not have to go thru hrs and hrs of labor before they realized this. But the poor little thing weighed in at only 10lbs 3oz LOL and 22" long :) I had a wonderful trip and am so blessed I had the opportunity to spend that time with all of them, but it was so very hard to leave. So here is his pic he was only about a minute old. As soon as I get my pics off my camera I will post more (I cannot find my cables to the camera LOL)

Lisa-Chris's Mom, Have a safe trip & I will be praying that everything goes well for Chris & Jennifer! Love the name Jacob Liam!! My sailor was 10.8 when he was born....tried to have natural but ended up having C-section...much better for me tho! Take Care!!!

I'm off to FL on Sat, Chris and Jennifer are being induced late tomorrow, please kee them in your prayers that all goes well for them and little (haha est 9.9) Jacob Liam!! I will keep all of you posted, and I cannot wait :)

I'm in for Holly Grail!!! It's 2 minutes from where I work...so glad you had a great weekend, can't wait to hear all about it. GREAT PICTURE!!! Thanks for taking the time to keep us posted.
