FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

RSVP shows 5-6 of us....(wish there were more). We'll post pictures of this luncheon, maybe more will come next time when they see what a wonderful time we had!!!!!! LOL.. It's not to late to rsvp!!!!!

AuntieJ, sorry you're not well, with so much going on for you all you needed was to get sick. As everyone else said, I'm sure we'll do this again and hopefully sooner than later :)

And spring is just around the corner if oyou go the long way around LOL

I will be wearing my Navy Tee but probably with a sweater, not sure if I'm in the mood for a cap, we'll see.

cheryllynn, Who knows but I am definitely NOT looking forward to winter! It would be nice for a couple of weeks during Christmas...but then come on Spring! Nice dream huh! lol! The temp dropped quite a bit during that hail storm so we had ice out back for awhile too.

Good morning all. Kelly- freaky part about the ice pellets...they didn't melt right away. We still had a pile in our side yard 3 hours later!!!!!!!!!!! I did hear there were flurries around....eeekkk...are we in for a hard winter?

Lisa, No snow here thank goodness....but we did have a hail/wind storm yesterday afternoon which left a pile of ice pellets on my deck! UGH too soon for me!!
