Great ideas. Thanks for the warnings. I am going to clear the memory card on my camera as well. And buy a whole pkg of batteries for it...I've warned him in a letter that I will be taking a million photos...lol Also bringing his cell phone that he can use on liberty and my hubby laptop that he can use to chat with friends.

Lisa-Chris's Mom, Wow, you have an amazingly strong & determined son to have gone through BC & BS like that!! I bet he was glad when it was all behind him AND you for that matter! : )
Cherylynn, Have a great time shopping with the girls! Having 3 guy's in my house, I am usually on my own when I shop for myself...but they do compliment me on my purchases most of the time! LOL! Just keep in mind that you will be climbing up & sitting on bleachers in the hall for PIR. Oh, another thing to remember is to try to keep your camera wrapped around your wrist by the strap...a couple people dropped their cameras under the bleachers right before the ceremony started & it was stressful & very difficult to get them out from under there. Don't want you to stress while your there! : )

Hooyah, We just made our travel arrangements. Plan to go shopping for an outfit this weekend with daughter and dil. That will be a lot of fun...girls day out!!! My hubby will have to stay home and man the phone...

Cheryllynn if it makes you feel better.....Chris went through most of BC and for sure BS with pneumonia and bad, and he did it with flying colors. He said afterward that if he was well at the time he probably would have had fun at it. But unfortunately with a temp of 104 it was difficult. Sadly he never told his chiefs because he would have been set back and he knew I already had made by plane reservations for BCWhat a good son! And I'm trying not to cry (again) because of that. But he made it and so did I........Love goes a very long way :)

That would be awesome, AuntieJ. Sorry for the rough goings on in your family. My folks live right here in Concord near me and my brothers all live nearby. We keep tabs on on each other somewhat. (long story) Hope things smooth out for you.

Yes, 12 noon it shall be!! and guess what!!?? I might know by then if my son has passed his BS. I think he has it that week but not certain.

AuntieJ, I'm sorry to hear that your Mom is having a rough time with her recovery. You do have alot going on & being there for your parents is so important right now.My parents are in CT and I know at times like this you wish you could be closer to them. I hope things get better soon & I look forward to meeting you on the 23rd or the next time we get together. Safe traveling!

I believe the e-mail said 12 noon. I think no matter what kind of ribbon everyone is wearing I'm sure we'll fine each other. : )

Marcia, I'm not sure if we've decided on a time yet, prob 11:30 or 12ish. All of us hope you can make it too. If not, we'll just have to do it again sooner than later :)

Hi Ladies! Sounds like a plan, count me in for the 23rd!! How about we all wear a ribbon of Blue & gold (or yellow)? That would be easy & could just be pinned on whatever we are wearing. Looking forward to meeting you all!
