FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

cherylynn, It is so very frustrating to hear news like this from BC...but unfortunately there are always a few recruits in most divisions that don't follow the rules & the whole division suffers because of them! My son had to deal with this also & it was bad but somehow the division finally pulled together & things got better & they did not get put back at all. The RDC's have to use threats like that to get through to the stubborn ones I guess. My thoughts & prayers are definitely with you're son & Div 354......and you too! Hang in there!

OK, so my sons div is under in trouble. The RDC is threatening to start them over at day 1...my son is very discouraged and frustrated. So are some of the other SR's in his div. from what I've read on our DIV site. He has requested prayer for his div so for those of you who pray, please pray for Div 354...thanks...<3

cherylynn, I have heard the same thing about Hart's in Manchester...I'm actually surprised it's still open! What ship & division is you're son in?

oooohhhhh, yummy food. Lets do it!! I vote common man....#1..Chen yang Li #2...now turkey is my absolute fav but I've been Harts in Manchester and I was not impressed with the physical building/restaurant . spoiled maybe from the one in Meredith...my schedule is pretty open so just set the time and date and I WILL BE THERE!!!

You mean to tell me there is life after bootcamp??? lol...It is great to hear about your sailors and where they are going and what they are doing..there is more to this than right now. Phew, one can reallly get bogged down with bc stuff...
Jonathan goes to A school in meridian for a few weeks...more on the admin side of things I think. Should be home in January. Unless things change...lol

Good Morning AuntieJ, Wow, it sound like your Sailor is doing great & looking forward to new adventure! Our son is leaving GL sometime in the next day or two for San Diego to begin SWCC training. He is anxious to get out there & begin the next phase! I am looking forward to meeting other NH Moms whenever we can get it together! : ) Have a great day everyone!
