Keke'smom, congrats to your Sailor and to both families:) that is great!!!
One week from today I will be in FL and soon after, Chris comes back from deployment.............cannot wait:)
Hello all, hope everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving (even though we are all missing our Sailors). My son made it home in early Sept. and got engaged to his best friend! Couldn't have picked anyone better for him, so happy for them both. We are very close friends with her parents so there won't be that awkward getting to know you to deal with!!! Hope you all have a wonderful Holiday.
Dee you must be one Proud Mamma:) Congrats!!!!!
I hear you Marcia, Chris has been in for 4 years and he's resigning when he gets back from deployment. Even tho I miss his like crazy, I'm glad he is making the choice to do it again, as there's nothing in the outside world for employment:(
Wow, I think this group has finally re-awakened:) (if that's even a word haha)
Kelly, Congrats to you and your son also:)
AuntieJ, a friend from another group, her son is also going to Japan for prob 2 years, I'll find out what ship he's with, that would be ironic!
Have a great weekend and Happy Veteran's Day to all and your families!!
Wonderful pics!! Love it. Congrats.
Jonny won't be home for Christmas but should be here for 3 weeks in January. I cannot wait!!
Good Morning NH Mom's!
Lisa, Great pics, Congratulations to your son!
I have been going to Blue Star meetings in Manchester over the last few months, we stuffed stockings to send to Afghanistan at the last meeting. I went to the Armory in Nashua last night to help get all the donations of cards, lettters, socks, toiletries etc.to be sent to our troops prepared for packaging, it was a wonderful experience...Paul Moore & the Mooremart team do a great job organizing this event! www.mooremart.org if you want more info.
My son made it through SWCC training & we attended his graduation ceremony in Coronado CA in May. He is now in school to become a Combat Medic.
I hope you all have a nice weekend!
Hi Arla!! We all have been pretty quiet lately. And no, I've never been to a Blue Star meeting, although I should make time. I'm happy your son might be home, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Chris def won't be home, maybe nexy summer:(
