Hi Everyone. Hope all is well. Lisa you must be so excited. December is almost here. Wow. Have a wonderful trip. Take pics for us.
Adam's mom how was PIR? Did all go well?
Well everyone, I finally have regular internet back, dealing with the phone was just not working (huge pain in the neck)
Welcome Adam's mom!! Have a great time in Great Lakes! We sure did (my mom and I went) but bring lots of tissues, it is a very emotional/happy/proud experience.
DeeM, congrats! What a great picture:)
Cheryllynn, Chris is back in Quatar (or however you spell it lol) he went there originally, then to Africa (which is where he went last dep) and now back in Quatar, he's due home beginning of Dec or thereabouts. I am going to Florida to see him get off that plane and cannot wait, I've never seen them come home before. I will only have a few days to spend as it's not a great time to take vacation in the retail world, but by boss is good, he's even ok knowing it's going to be last minute as they never know until the last minute when they will arrive. His little boy has started walking two weeks ago and he had to miss that along with a lot of growing Jacob has done. But making up for lost time will be a lot of fun:)
And......they will most likely be moving to VA which is a whole lot closer to this proud Mama lol
Later on I will try to get some pics for all of you to see.......I'm glad to be back!! have a great day everyone!!
Hi Adam's Mom..You will have an incredible time in Great Lakes.
.and congrats DeeM, the pic is amazing, and you must have had a blast!! You still with the Blue Star Moms? I have one in my window. Never have made it to a meeting. I started school and it's just go go go.
Hope everyone else is doing great. Post updates as to where your sailors all are and what's going on. Mine is still in Diego Garcia. He is anxious to get back to civilization in January!!! Can't wait. Sending him a treat or treat pkg today. I will have to start collecting things for a Christmas one.
YAY, Lil. And congrats to all.
We faired well during the hurricane, tropical storm...kind of fizzled out around here. We did loose power for a few hours, but it was just a tree limb on the line. Nothing real serious.
Jonny will be coming home in January and then is to be stationed here in the states. Cannot wait to see him!!
Navygal88, sure you'll do well! Keep us posted. Did OK here during the hurricane, just branches to be picked up. No power loss. Sure hope everyone else made it through OK.
Congrats to the newlyweds! Such an exciting time in their young lives.
