Hi Sydnee--My son went to BC 6/5 and will go to MA school in San Antonio in August. I am happy about that since we are from Texas and one of his sisters will only be 2 hours away.

Hi everyone (:

My name is Sydnee. My fiance recently left for boot camp ( Jun 3rd). His rate is Master At Arms. I am really looking forward to learning more about what his job will be and the different schooling he will be going through. I am a Navy Brat and am aware of deployments, distance and small amount of communication that will happen between my fiance and I. I'm really looking forward to talking to you guys!

Hi, all: my son will be going to MAA "A" school in San Antonio from RTC on 01/05/13. I know he'll tell me what he wants shipped once he gets there.. Is there anything I should be aware of ahead of time, anything your Sailor requested/needed shortly after arriving in A school? Thanks for sharing your experience.

My son will be graduating from A school this weekend. So proud. Next will be home for about 14 days and then gone for three years. I hope he gets a break in that three years period as I can't go that long without seeing him.

dis5150... Thanks for the info. I will look up the groups. My son is MAA. What is yours?

My understanding was that his group would be starting this week. Haven't heard from him in since last weekend. I know he was looking forward to beginning his training! Hope all is going well!

Hi Debzz3,  My daughter is also there in school now.  She has been in class for a few weeks.  Welcome to the group.

Hello. While technically my daughter is not a MAA yet, she arrived in San Antonio Sat. morning and is waiting for her class to start. So thought this might be a group that I would want to join. :)
