We just bought non refundable because it was a great sale and if anything would of happened we would of just taken the airfare credit and gone to Boston! LOL

Thanks everyone!  I got the letter from the Navy.  Weston put a little comment on there.  At least I have an address where I can send him a card.  I actually have a pile of funny cards I have been collecting so that I can have them to send.  I even did a card from Weston's bassett hound.

Did a little research online for "refundable airline tickets"  good grief!  Alot more expensive that the non-refundable.  My wait a few more weeks just to be sure Wes is good to go. . .

Have a great day everyone!

salosbor-sent you request on your N4M email...

Oh the box.....mine is still sitting inmy sons room,, I have not even washed his cloths yet... Cant bring myselt to do that yet...

Los Alamos is yes..... its own unique place, hahahahahahha

I worked at the high school there for a few years back in 1999, then at the Medical Center for a few more.

Is your husband at the Lab? what brought you there?

Isn't Los Alamos a trip?  NOT my favorite place we have lived. . . No I haven't joined the PIR group.  What is that and where do I find my group? I just got Weston's box today with his clothes.  Sad.  No information in there. . .guess I am not surprised.

Thanks for responding!  I appreciate the support!

Hello!  New member.  My son Wes has been gone 1 week to BC.  I am very excited for him and excited to hopefully meet some moms and get involved.  I live in Los Alamos with my husband of 22 yrs and our daughter who is a senior.  Its weird not being able to talk to Wes, these kids are such a part of your life and then its like they fall off the face of the earth!  Just wanted to say hello!

Yes we will be going to PIR,,, It will be 2/11/11.  We are down to 36 days!  My son is feeling a little frustrated at BC.  I thnk its the stage he is in there, he is kind of bored with the same routine he said. UGH,,, broke my heart.

Hi all.. got my " I am alive call" We got 16 minutes total and it was so wonderful!  I have to admit it killed me when I hung up... I had to cry.  But I know this is another step in the process of elimination!  36 days till PIR!
