OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

He is my second oldest but my first son. I have 5 total. He really has become the rock for my kids as far as sibilings are concerned. My husband and I are just do proud of his decision and the role model that he is, we know our younger ones will proudly look up to him even more. Where about in NM are you?

Hi all! Yes I did find the RR chapter,, thank you! My son leaves next Wed and I am feeling the blues right now...I know this is a great thing but cant help feel sad. He will not be around while his sisters and bro gorw up the next 6 years and that is what really hurts. He is such a role model to them. Have a great week everyone and GOD bless all of you

Hi Zane Cresap, It is Goose Creek. Sara just started power school. We went to SC in August for her first graduation. It was hot and humid, but it was wonderful. We're planning to go agian in April if and when she graduates power school. I'm looking forward to go agian. Are you planning on going agian?

The emotional strees can be too much for me sometimes. My daughter Mary is in Japan, the only thing that holds me together is SKYPE. It's the greatest thing invented. Just seeing her face helps a lot. Sara and I SKYPE also, she's in SC so if I want to fly out and see her I can. Not so easy going to Japan.
