No I have not slept since Sunday night!  Between battlestations and work and getting ready to go can't sleep!  We have to leave for ABQ at 3:30 am!  That means I am up at 2:00 am making sure everyone has everything and dogs are fed, watered and trash is taken out!  You know how that goes!  I am hoping to sleep on the plane, not sure I can do that, but I will try!

Thanks for everyone's support!

Got the "I'm a Sailor" call!  So good to hear his voice!  Can't wait to get on that plane Thursday!  Pretty sure I will be a sobbing heap all day Friday!

Question for everyone.....

I see everyone doing get- togethers for their states...can we plan something on our own or does it have to be approved by anyone?

I think we should try and do something !  Anyone have any ideas? Should we try and do a MOM event first and then plan a family one later?  I would love to meet everyone and we all have a few things in commom,,,,,N4M, our kids/spouse, and New Mexico!

Hello everyone!  No letter from my son last week.  At least his grandma got one! At any rate, his division took the captains cup for all male division.  We are thrilled - especially since they had so many problems!  Now if I knew where that kid was going to A school.  Battlestations tonight - maybe a phone call tomorrow.  Keeping my fingers crossed . . . .

An ex Navy guy told me that they could fly on "A flights" (military flights) if they have availablity. he would have to ask on of his superiors where the listing is at and sign up for it. He could fly to a nearby city and then fly commercial to ABQ. I'm going to have him check into that. I'm not sure if he can come out that soon. He did say he is still on Liberty phase 1 as of Friday. So I'm not sure about anything but just checking all options for when he is ready to.

dont think there are military flights Cindy...all the ones that do fly come commericial and in civilian cloths,,

How was PIR for you?? Never got to meet you that at M & G!  Are they allowed to fly home already?

Anyone has any idea what would be the cheapest flights from Pensacola to Albuquerque for my son? Would he need to travel by commercial or are there any military flights he could take?
