Hello,

Good Luck with State Tournament!

I can only meet for about 1/2 hour during weekday. I work in a facility next to Satellite Coffee north of University Blvd and Lomas. After PIR would be great as well. I'll be in touch with private messages. This weather is crazy - I'm a little nervous with GL weather and travel!!!

Smiles, Cindy

Cindy... we wil have wrestling this weekend as well, it is state tournament, the BIG one! LOL

It may be after PIR when we finally get together but maybe we can plan it out to do a little reunion with everyone.  I can for sure meet before but it has to be weekdays when the kids are in school.

Hope everyone is doing well, I see the storm is trying to make some snow and the temps have dropped!  I saw it is suppose to be -1 here for a low on wed night.  Brrrrrrr.....

I have 10 days till PIR and the storm there in GL's is worrying me, I am hoping it will be gone by the time I need to be there.....have to hug my son!

P.S.  does anyone from the group live in  Las Cruces or close by?

Hi!  It's good to know there are a few of us NM moms out there.  my daughter is a CT, and will graduate "A" school in Feb.  She comes home for a few weeks and then she deploys to Hawaii, NIOC.  I am so excited for her move to Hawaii,  but it is so far away.  And as you can see I am just getting used to this NAVY life and all its requirements.  Thanks to all who replied, hopefully I get to know all of you.

Mamawalrus: i think a reunion of sorts is a great idea, let me know if you need help planning.  kelley

Oops MamaWalrus....I meant next Sunday. I have a BD party to throw today for my little guy in the picture. The paper sounds like a great idea - I saw something about that.  We should double check the Navy/Community guidelines or with RDC to be sure it is okay (Loose Lip Sink Ship - OPSEC ). I'll let you know if I find out anything. We would have to post after we confirm that all of our boys have made it through.

Anyone from PIR 2/11/11 interested in meeting for Coffee next Sunday or Saturday? I'm flexible....hope to meet with as many of you as we can so we can share and bask in our excitement!

LLAMAMA - welcome!  what will Kassandra being doing for her job?  Will she go east or west coast?
Comment by LLAMAMAMA on January 28, 2011 at 3:10pm
Hi.  I am a mom of a navy sailor (Kassandra) and we live in Las Cruces, NM.  My daughter is in the last weeks of "A" school in Pensacola, Fla., then she will be home for about three weeks until she deploys around the 10th or so of Mar.  It's nice to know there are some NAVY moms from NM.  This is such a great support group for all of us.
