Hello Mom from Kirkwood. Im from Upstate NY Webste NY.
allie1928 - my son is in boot camp now, Div 196 he will be graduating on June 29th and heading to Pensacola, FL to attend air traffic controller school for about 4 months. Then we will find out where he will be assigned. We live in Hyde Park.
Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day! Does anyone know if the Air Force has any type of site like this? My girlfriends son is joining the Air Force after graduation & I told her how much help "Navy For Moms" was for me.
@crazydaisy Josh is studying to be an aerographers mate (meteorological and oceanographic expert). Matthew is a Nuke he just finished his schooling. He will stay where he is for a few months then we dont know.
@sheryl Navy how long will you be in Buffalo? Did you go to the Buffalo Naval Museum? www.buffalonavalpark.org/
crazydaisy welcome, I'm from Webster, NY. I have to sons in the Navy. Josh finished BC Dec.2 He is in Mississippi. My stepson is in Balston Spa NY.
She has to go back to mississippi at some point for additional schooling. It will probably happen next year. My son will reenlist at that point and he will go out to sea. Hannah and the baby will go to miss. Then when he returns she will be sent whereever he is for land duty. They say the navy will work with them. We are near NYC so not sure how we fit in the pic as grandparents getting to see the baby. Think I will be doing a lot of traveling
