Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

In the event of an emergency within the sailor’s family, where you feel the sailor must be notified and considered for Emergency Leave, you must notify the American Red Cross through the national headquarters in Washington, DC (1-877-272-7337) or via their website www.redcross.org.

Hi MNM happy that your daughter is doing good and surgery went well The Best for a Speedy Recovery.Thank you for the wishes for my son I feel so bad that I cant be there for him he is still not well but hopefully they are starting him next week for Physical Therapy.

Congrats Heartbeat she is beautiful your Sailor is going to be thrilled when he gets to hold her.

Kellydeedee Congrats on your daughters promotion same here when my son received his Petty Officer I made up my own class I thought it was 4th class LOL and Im glad you enjoyed the cruise they say its wonderful I hope I get to do that with my son as well

Went on the day cruise with the USS Jason Dunham last week and I had a blast.  It it was great to see what my daughter does as a ET and they even had an award/promotion ceremony that day so I got to see my daughter get her promotion to Petty Officer class 3 ( i think that is how it is said.) still learning the navy terms. But it was great

MNM: glad your daughter is doing well. Enjoy your time with her. One of these days I will get to Norfolk. Hopefully before he leaves LOL
