My son just got to Norfolk yesterday!  He will stay in the barracks for a couple of weeks, then be moved to apts.  He has his other sub mates from Groton with him so he is happy!  I'm looking forward to visiting!

Well...grasshopper....two things that CAN help ease things a bit...i sent my spouse a can of his favorite instant lipton sweet tea and a teaspoon measuring spoon so he could it into a water bottle! Now I know it t the same and send a zippy bag spaces are tight in case the can needs to go! Then when it come to the Bos I don't know about regs but I've sent my hubs shaker jars of the fry salt! They sell them in four packs during the holiday season. If they don't have them out yet...ask Home office may send them in early! You are talking to a sorter galmthat can't stand the fact that my closest bos only sells grits in the Morning, and one kind of chicken when I know they have two flavors! Let's just say the trip home will be slow as I'm sure we will get variable aspects to go with our dinner! I have my route planned
